COURSES
BIOL 362 Neurobiology
This course aims to provide students with an overview of major principles and concepts of modern neurobiology. The cellular and molecular basis of neuronal excitability and synaptic transmission, sensory and motor systems, and development and modification of the nervous system will be covered in this course.
Course Topics:
Part I: Neural Signaling
BIOL 357 Neural Disease, Degeneration, and Regeneration
This course aims to provide students with an overview of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying common neurodegenerative disorders. Mechanisms of neuronal cell death and application of stem cells in CNS regeneration will also be covered.
